About the Tour

One of our expert bilingual guides will meet you at your hotel lobby, once you meet him he will take you for a cultural adventure on the shores of Lake Atitlan.
Santiago Atitlan is known for being the biggest village around the lake area with over 50,000 people, Known for its culture as well as accepting the mix between mayan and catholic religions. Here you will be able to visit the church which is over 4 hundred years old! Visit the brotherhood of Maximon- local saint as well as visit the local market which has a big variety of local fruits and vegetables. In Santiago you are able to find a big variety of souvenirs to take home with you as well! After visiting this village full of culture and history we will take the boat back across the lake to the hotel in time for lunch.
