Day by Day Travel Itinerary
Day 1. A representative will meet you at the airport and travel to Antigua Guatemala place where you will spend two nights.
Day 2. 8:00am – You will be met by one of our professional guides and take you on a half day walking tour of Antigua. Your tour will
cover the cultural, historical & social highlights of this colonial city with a behind‐the‐scenes look at some of the many ruined churches, convents, and cathedrals. Entrances are included to the Iglesia San Francisco, the Cathedral and La Merced Church. At the end of the tour your guide and private driver will travel to one of the most featured hikes near Antigua, the active Volcan Pacaya, it takes about 1.5hrs up and about 1hr. down with nice views of Guatemala City and volcanoes on the Westside of volcanoes Fuego, Acatenango and Agua! Overnight Antigua Guatemala at Hotel Aurora or Similar.
Day 3. 9:00am – You will be met at your hotel lobby and travel to lake Atitlan and trek en route. As you trek down to into the caldera lake, you will experience great views of the Lake and volcanoes. Along the trail you will also see local people working on their onion and flower plantations. As you reach the village of Santa Catarina our driver will be ready to transfer you to your hotel where you will stay for three nights. Overnight at Hotel Atitlan or Similar
Day 4. 8:00am – Our adventure guide and driver will meet you at your hotel for a nice hike along an ancient trail, on the north side of Lake Atitlan, the hike takes place in very remote communities and finally reach at a nice peak that is called el Pico de Cielo, that offers amazing views of the Lake Atitlan form about 6,000ft. by sea level. At the end of the hike travel back to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel Atitlan or Similar
Day 5. 9:00am – After a delicious breakfast our guide and boat man will meet you for another day hike and village visit. Hike along ancient trail for about 1.5hrs. the hike is mainly moderate and pass small villages along the lake shore then stop at a nice place for a refreshing lemonade. From here our boat will take you to a famous and charming little village called San Juan la Laguna, place where you will have lunch and explore. On your guided tour, you will have a chance to see the process of weaving in a traditional way using their natural dyes, also visit some of the local artists and much more. At the end of the day you will travel back to your hotel to enjoy the pool or Jacuzzi. Overnight at Hotel Atitlan or Similar
Day 6. Travel back to Guatemala City and connect with your onward flight back home. End of our services.
