Day 1: Airport transfer & Antigua Hotel
A Representative of Voltan Adventures will meet you at Guatemala City International Airport then travel by private transportation to Antigua Guatemala hotel for three night.

Day 2: Antigua Cultural Waking Tour
Walking tour of Antigua Guatemala you will be met by your guide at your hotel and have half day private cultural walking tour of Antigua, after the tour your guide will company you back to your hotel where you will have time to enjoy the rest of the day by yourself.

Day 3: Antigua free day at Leisure
Today we have left you a free day for you to enjoy this colonial city, and explore by your own, read a book or request a different tour. You can send us an email prior to book this package and customize it for you. We have great suggestions for things to do in Antigua.

Day 4: Iximche Mayan Ruins tour & Travel to Lake Atitlan
Today, a representative of Voltan Adventures will meet you at your hotel, then continue to Lake Atitlan, with a short smoothly guided tour of Iximche Mayan ruins. Iximche once was the first capital of Guatemala, where our Kaqchikel Mayan people have their origins. Overnight at selected hotel in Lake Atitlan.

Day 5: Lake Atitlan & Cultural Experience by boat
Private Full-day tour of the Mayan villages around Lake Atitlan, San Juan and Santiago. Meeting local people, local artist, learning about the culture and much more. At the end of the tour return to your hotel to enjoy the sunset and take as many pictures of our Guatemala’s most beautiful Atitlan lake.

Day 6: Half day Kayaking Adventure
This half day kayaking adventure is the perfect combination for you to learn more about daily life of Atitlan people, as you paddle you will enjoy beautiful views of the lake and volcanoes that will connect you even more with nature.

Day 7: Free Day Lake Atitlan at Leisure
Today we have given you a free day to explore and relax right before continuing to your next destination.

Day 8: Transfer to Ixil Triangle
Today you will travel by private transportation to the Region of Ixil, and spend two nights. En route to Ixil region, you will have a lunch experience with local family from Sacapulas.

Day 9: Experience the Traditional Market of Chajul
Explore Traditional Market of Chajul After breakfast, you will travel to Chajul Market, known as one of the less explored destinations in Guatemala. Chajul is one of the most affected regions in Guatemala by Civil War and now days they enjoy the freedom since 1996.

Morning Horseback riding or Hiking Our horses will be ready right after breakfast, and then continue along nice wide trail, with the nice views of Acul valley, rivers and little people’s homes with smoke coming out from their kitchens…and people on their way for work. After the tour you will travel to Chichicastenango for an overnight.

A representative of Voltan Adventures will meet you at your hotel, and then continue by private transport to the ancient Mayan ruins and world heritage of Tikal. You will explore the site and its principal highlights, as you walk thru the jungle, you will be able to hear the hauler and spider monkeys and many birds that will make your trip unforgettable. After the tour you will be dropped off at the airport the fly back to Guatemala City for the last night.
Our driver will meet you at your hotel in Guatemala City then drive you to the airport right on time to connect with your onward flight back home.

A highlight of all of our group of three was the weekly market at Chajul, which was filled with women in their bright red traje, selling local produce. Other interesting stops included lunch with a local family in Acul, a visit with the old gentleman who
