About Lake Atitlan
Just about 2.5 hours away from Antigua Guatemala, know as one of the deepest lake in Central America, and one of the most beautiful lakes int he world, it is a caldera Lake, with three majestic volcanoes and surrounded by ancient Mayan villages that speak different languages, Tzutujil and Kaqchikel.
Travel Information
7:00am – You will be met by a representative of Voltan Adventures at your hotel, then travel to Lake Atitlan for 2.5hrs. Along the road you will enjoy a scenic ride with views of the highlands of Guatemala, incredible view of volcanoes and lake Atitlan.
As you arrive our boat captain and guide will be ready for your Lake Atitlan sightseeing boat tour. Travel across the lake on the south-shore of Lake Atitlan right between three volcanoes, San Pedro, Atitlan and Toliman. There Explore with you guide the outstanding village of Santiago Atitlan, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the views, the market, main plaza, the brotherhood of Maximon and finally having a great lunch at a nice Lake front restaurant.
At the end of the tour you will have some additional free time to explore by yourself in Panajachel, and the travel back to Antigua Guatemala. Our driver will drop you off at your hotel about 6:30pm or 7 depending on traffic.
